Yes,Janette, well it has to be, doesn't it? I think he is really a West Highland Terrier, but the dark grey caught my eye,and the shaggy coat. Can't wait to see him sitting in a bed of Rudbeckia "Toto" in summer. Thanx also, Mike, Irish and Jacque. Guess how much he cost? £7 !! (and he doesn't need walking or feeding, either).

That's a good'un.

Have you seen the one of a dragon with a Scotty head? Makes you give it a second look I can tell you. (Should post the picture sometime).

I thought of Blackfriar's Bobby... but yes it is Toto...'I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto!."

I was remembering the black and white scene...the rail fence, the ratcheting windmill...the blowing dust... and poor little Dorothy. Don't suppose you found any flying monkeys? just monkey flower right?

Brooms! that's what was bothering me...brooms... do you plant broom or is it just too invasive?

Sorry, Lori, no actual flying monkeys. Best I can do is have them overhead in hanging baskets, lol!
Yes, we have one massive broom (another free gift from the birds, I think). Will be posting a pick when it is in full bloom. It needs a lot of cutting back coz it spreads like mad! Luckily for us, it grows in the "Oz" garden.

here again...a foggy memory..but you have to be sure you sweep up all the little pieces when you cut them or they'll take root where they fell?
talk about a survivor...

Oh Lori! Perhaps mine didn't originate from the birds or wind after all? I should get the ladder out and look over the fence to see if the owner has broom! Well, he's always throwing back footballs, so you never know,.A wee revenge tactic maybe, lol?
