This is why this is called the rim, the road streches from the first imperssive formation up to this, about 9000ft elev. where you can see the whole rim bending behind you.

Thank you. Hope everyone is feeling warmer. Really a grand place. Id always seen the main canyon shots, but this view of the rim tops them I think.
