It is also called Lenten Rose, survives nicely in dry shade and blooms in the early spring.

beautiful photo, does this plant grow in shaded area and is it easily available, as i would love to grow it in my garden

It is easily available here in my part of the states and south western Canada too. I have seen a few postings from UK gardeners so you should be able find it. Welcome aboard Sarah!
