Autumn rose leaves (Rosa 'John Davis')

Roses aren't usually noted for their fall colour but these leaves from my climbing rose 'John Davis' have put on a show.

Most roses don't have colour Rkalyan but this one does. I imagine it is quite a close relation to a rugosa rose which also have colour in the fall.

did you brings the leaves in for a bouquet then? I would have had too..lol..I am sucha sucker for those colors..

DD....this particular rose never seems to get any kind of problems except for aphids.
Cat....no I didn't. Chevy would have promptly eaten them all.
