Calm that sizzling red hot pokers
The solanum towers above the pergola and had become so clogged with the clematis also growing there that we decided to cut the lot back but we killed it. I have pink, blue and white wisteria growing here too so will not replace this plant to give them room to expand. I have two others elsewhere in the garden.

Thank you. I have great difficulty growing house plants but not outside I read up on what the plant wants and go for it. The roots of the RHPokers become very long and the plants need to be lifted and the roots cut back every three years. I plant up spares in the black flower tubs used by florists and donate them to charity shops or church fetes.

Thank you I enjoy sharing my garden with like minded folk. That is a Solanum crispum "Glasnevin". The Blue plant further along is a Ceanothus "Autumnal Blue".
