This is a spectacular plant when its in flower, but I really have to sort out a 'prop' for it next spring because the leaves do flop everywhere.

Yes, it is in the sun all day and in the driest border I have. I am afraid that I don't do anything special to it except to try to get rid of all the baby plants that appear around it at this time of year! It is a very architectural plant, and worth persevering. Try feeding yours - might give it a boost.

Well then, maybe that's my problem ! I was told, and have read that they're a shade plant. I think I'll move them both to maybe all morning sun and see if that helps. I've also read that they can be a bit invasive. I wish I had that problem !!

This is beautiful Spritzhenry ! I've had 2 of them for 6 years or so and they barely have leaves. They've never bloomed. Is yours in the sun? Do you have any tips on getting them to bloom?
