What is this plant? My kind neighbour Ann gave me few of these& im thinking flower looks like an Bleeding Heart ? IS IT :)

Thanx i thought it was but the leaves look different to the Bleeding Heart iv just Brought?

Defo Dicentra (bleeding heart) but colour of flower looks v dark, so maybe it is a different/new/old variety?

The flower looks a much deeper colour than my Bleeding Heart. Looks like youv'e got a different variety here Jacque.

This looks like bleeding heart, dicentra. I've seen 3 different types "bleeding hearts" with very different leaf structures. There's a decentra eximia (wild bleeding heart) that has very frilly fern-like leaves and the flowers aren't quite as cutsie heart-shaped as the more common bleeding heart. The third bleeding heart plant that I've seen is something they call a vine BH. The one I've seen had red and white flowers and semi oval shaped leaves.
