Spring Azure
The first Spring Azure of the year ! Pic taken 4-10-08. The same day that I saw this Spring Azure I also saw the first Cabbage White butterfly and a few days before that I saw the first Eastern Comma, or Question Mark. It was flying and I couldn't tell which it was. I hope this guy is tucked in a nice warm place tonight..........we're having a cold front and it will be in the 30's (f) tonight !

hahaha...I knew if I checked out your pictures I'd find the answer to my riddle... I have a pic of a little Spring Azure..and I knew it had blue somehow in it's name but it would not open it's wings for me to get a picture of his lovely blue topside. The pic I posted has his wings tightly closed and all the blue you can see is the fine little tufts on the tips of the wings...will have to name my pic...great photo as usual..and thanks.
