Cyathea cooperi - Lacy Tree Fern again (for Dottydaisy) (Cyathea cooperi (Lacy Tree Fern))

Seen at Roma Street Parklands - the bench seat and bin give you more of an idea of how tall these tree ferns are.

It's so similar Mushy - not sure if it's the same variety but the foliage is the same. It's what I thought of when I first saw your photo.

Youngdaisydee - they are known for their hardiness and will tolerate full sun if they are very well watered. In this parkland there's a misting system throughout the Ferny Grove as well as the watering system - so they get very well-watered.

You're welcome DD - it's one thing to say they can reach 30 feet but it's another when you can actually see them. Glad the photos gave you a clearer idea.

What else?

See who else is growing Cyathea cooperi (Lacy Tree Fern).

See who else has plants in genus Cyathea.

This photo was taken at Roma Street Parklands - Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (labelled as Enoggera Park).
