Lovely colour :-)
When I bought mine I was looking for a deep red one. I thought I had found it when I spotted one produced by Cuthbert's for Woolworths. The illustration on the pack showed a quince in flower, deep red. What's more it was reduced!
It is in flower at the moment and looking good, but definitely salmon pink.

It looks like a small version of the Japonica I have in my garden, which is an ornamental Quince. The fruit are very hard but can be used to make jelly.
