This is a Rebukia of some sort, it grows like weeds, I have it almost everywhere, where I need to fill a gap, it grows to over six feet high.

Grammazoo , Thanks, but those do not fall over, they are very upright, hold themselves quite well, they flower from about June to November, the only downside of them is, clearing up when they die down. There are so much of it, they are so long.

No, I just leave them to get on with themselves, they grow like weeds.

It looks like the wild woodland sunflower we have here (Helianthus divaricatus). I have them in my backyard all along the fence and enjoy the colour they bring to an autumn garden. They do fall over everywhere though!
