It's a Skipper butterfly...not sure of the exact variety though :) Could be: Fiery Skipper Butterfly - Hylephila phyleus

It's definitely a Skipper of some sort as said by three people already. We have a couple of Butterflies of this family over here too though this one is a lovely colour. Those two rear wings sticking up are very characteristic of this family. It is a type of Butterfly but one that is probably close to the division between moths and butterflies.
