Very nice. Not seen one this colour before. I have two, one which Spritz kindly sent me which is Lysimachia Stratum and one which has variagated foliage which I don't know the name of. The flowers of both are yellow.

Almost Morgana a greenbottle ..these flowers grow in spikes Toto from the leave stem and seem more compact than purple or yellow loose strife .

Thought the fly would give an idea of flower size which seems smaller .

Morgana, I creep to all delectible females and Sandra is beautifdul. I hadn't noticed that Milky had called me a tart but if she did she is probably right. I love all you ladies.

Love this one BB havent seen it around, must have a look at the garden centre, as white is my favourite flower colour .

8 Sep, 2009

Mine too PP think would be happy with just green and white in garden esp as our garden so shady seems to look t its best in the evenings .

These send out small flower spikes unlike the other yellow and purple varieties that seem to flower up the stem and can get a little invasive.

If you have no joy happy to send one ..

Thanks BB would love to take you up on your kind offer if there are none in our local garden centre, will Pm you with my address. Cheers!

Two in one, here, BB - the beetle and the flower. Lovely.

This is really lovely. We have loads of the yellow loosestrife, which is a bit of a thug and has compacted tough roots so a pig to remove when it oversteps the mark. This white one is gorgeous and sounds much more controllable. I've never seen one anywhere, so thanks for showing the photo...I shall look out for it, now!

Hi BB ~
If you have any seedlings of this I would be delighted to have one please...
I'm still working on your Clematis Armandii...Lol. I could write a blog on my attempts... Lol. Even have photos of where a frog took up residence in one of the pots, knowing it might be shipped to near your pond...Lol.

29 Sep, 2009

Jane trying to root some cuttings TT for early next year which probably a bit speedier than seedlings ..so fingers crossed .Thanks for Clematis up date was always likely to take a while and so pleased that frogs love it ..

29 Sep, 2009

Could be a race as to who makes cuttings first.... Janey with the Lysmachia, or me with the Armandii...... my money is on Janey, but the frogs are hoping otherwise.... they heard the pond facilities in Yorkshire are especially luxurious...

29 Sep, 2009

Well we do have the advantage of soft cuttings ..my week end will be in the pond everything spread so much .Really needs a good clear some friends gave us what they called water buttercup I suspect it actually spearwort and grown like a Triffid ..

29 Sep, 2009

OMG.... I can feel your water buttercup blog coming on from here...:o(
