It,s nice to try something diferent isn't it. I am going to try them outdoors next year as there are lots of seed left.

That's where I last saw them - outdoors. My Dad grew them in window boxes outdoors here in Fife, so you should be OK with them next year. :-)

Thats a good idea david, I will try the window boxes it will keep them off the ground and less likely to be nibbled by slugs etc. Thankyou.

Remember to put something heavy in the bottom of the boxes first, as they can easily topple off the window ledge with the weight of the plants and fruit as they grow and tumble, or if the compost gets too dry one day.

Taste just like ordinary cucumber. You need quite a few to equal a normal length cucumber.
