i lost both my mum and dad a few years ago within 5 mths of each other.................

As i live a long way from the Cemetery which is near my sister,i felt i needed somewhere to feel close to them,And my Dad always loved my garden,a keen gardener himself and he taught me all i know now...................Allthough my Mum wasn't a gardener she loved to sit out there and relax.........

Great idea, Eggbox, and it looks lovely. The stone birdbath/feeder caught my eye. My grandfather had one almost exactly the same, and my Dad inherited it. He forgot to remove it b4 selling that particular house, but the birdbath is, at least, still there.

What a beautiful way to remember your parents, I also lost my mum & dad a few years ago, it was the other way around my mother was the gardner & taught me all about bedding plants.

the pear and apple trees in the narrow border belonged to them,And so did quite a few of the other plants,my dad loved the wildlife so i thought up this idea...........
