Hi Everyone,
Just to remind everyone to GET their FLU jabs,ASAP,
There is a very strong flu coming this winter, I work in a hospital, and have been advised to let people know, so please don’t forget, we do spend a lot of time outside don’t we.

I'm not over 60 yet but I've heard I could have a flu injection because I am a carer for my elderly mother. I'll have to look into it. Maybe it's only so in England but I'll have to find out.

i believe man flu is a monster virus that only attacks men leaving them bed ridden for days!!! lol

Not just for over 60s in England, my son is 19 he haves a flu jab every year, since he was 14yrs, he has miled Asthma,But he loves to do sports, which helps. Children need
to be checked by the GP for advise on if they should have
it. take of yourselfs all of you out there.xx

I'm very happy to say that I've never had the flu ( knock on wood ) but decided to get a shot last week for the first time ever. At 62 I thought it might be a good idea to start getting the shots :)

Thanks for the reminder, Pepperpot.
I must check that my Mother has the jab, when she gets a bug it makes her very poorly and they seem to stay with her for a long time

Good for you! I have just had a European flu, I think I have antibodies now. Here we're going into summer.
Are flu needles free there too for the over 60-tees?
