Pennyplants Prattle

Nothing much happened in my garden today. After putting fresh compost on the last of my winter/spring pots, I popped them behind the greenhouse where they’ll stay until the end of September.
It was a grass cutting day but because there’s still a beautiful carpet of primroses and bluebells under, and to the front of, the hedges, the grass in those areas was given a wide berth. As for daisies I love them and feel very sad as they disappear under the mower.
The azalea are looking great so I must take a photo for my page. Sadly the first paeony, although huge and gorgeous (and would have been a good picture) was battered to death by yesterdays wind.
Now that I’ve actually entered the ‘new century’ and bought a digital camera I must start using it every day for this site.
