Someone's Eyes

I do believe that some people can see what the others can’t, I listen to opinions and nod and say “it could be true”. But when I think of that over and over again, rewinding my thoughts, and focus on all issues, then finding the core of it all…. I’d say I found it… in Someone’s Eyes.

As an artist my eyes are constantly seeing things or visual relationships that others don't, but I thing people can be educated to see more. Some of us have jobs that involve using our eyes more than others. The same can be said for sound or music.

I used to have an elderly friend called Doris. She was an artist, and she could see colours that I could not see in the landscape. I think I learned from her to look more carefully, but I still don't think I see things the way she did. Mind you, as she was old, perhaps she literally did see things differently to me. As for seeing things in people's eyes...well, they say that eyes are the window to one's soul and that may be true. Of course, some people's eyes are more 'open' than others and some eyes are afraid to be 'seen'.

Yes, Linda and Karen, an artist uses their eyes and imaginations altogether, just like a landscaper. one cannot compose a beautiful view even you put lots of plants in the garden, when you fail to imagine what you are making. In this blog... what I want to convey mostly is we can see and find out the truth if we keenly observe one's eyes and not about the subject or object that he is presenting. When someone talks to me I look directly into his or her eyes. For eyes can talk more than a mouth can...

I'm sure you are right. Especially people you know well. One look can same a thousand words!!

I don't like people who look away from me when I talk to them. It makes me feel like I don't trust them. I do believe our true self is in our eyes.

Also I do pottery work, and I see designs for pots in everything lol - seed pods especially, like poppy heads etc. I see them as pots that I can make :o)
