I think I'll Have To Starve Myself!

After a lot of christmas binging and no gardening to work it off, I think I have ballooned a little this last week or two. And, to make it worse, I’ve been crocked with a bad back etc so haven’t been very active the last three days.
But, I have a little problem. This coming Saurday and Sunday, I am working(not gardening but my other little part time job that I do from time to time) and I have to fit into this costume (below) ….now, when I purchased the military tail coat, the suppliers only had it in 48" chest which would have swamped me or 38" .Mmmmm, you see the problem ?? Well, 38/40 is ok in some things but this is very snug.
I am playing the duke of Wesleton, a charachter from the children’s film ‘Frozen’. I played it , also, in a November.Great fun and suits my personality perfectly(yes…he’s bonkers and a very strange dancer!!) I know, how do I get roped I to these things?? blame my entertainer son!!!
I will be doing some ‘walkabout’ entertainment at an event called ‘Let It Snow’ with other characters based on the film, at a farm park for families! I just hope my back is better and the jacket squeezes on!!
Oh well, life is never dull………
I promise more of my blogs will be garden related when I can start work on my new garden when the weather gets better!

Happy New Year and Happy Gardening

Thanks......the cummerbund is all that's keeping me in !!! The jacket is so tight, my belly pots out the bottom!!!so, lots of safety pins on Cummerbund!
Thanks's all the rage with little ones and their mums at the moment.Santa was asked for lots of 'Frozen' items this year,so, he did the inevitable jokes about freezing dolls etc in the refrigerator and buying things in 'Iceland'

Happy New Year Paul !
and good luck with the duke of Wesleton.

31 Dec, 2014 look exactly like him! The young Male lead...Christophe is a part made just for my's him to a T! :)) Sadly, Callum has given up his Musical Theatre pursuits and no amount of hinting or encouraging will tempt him back to the stage....sigh....a talent unused.

Thanks Hywel, I'm glad noone's said 'Break a Leg' coz, knowing me..........
I have no talent Karen...I just blag it but it seems people like what I do.(particularly my son's 29 yr old, multi millionaire boss and best mate!...and he just keeps finding new roles for me to play .mostly at his farm park but they also hire me out to various corporate events and private parties!

He looks a fine character for you to play Paul and the outfit looks great, as to the talent well lets face it who needs it when one has a gift of being able to make people laugh and feel happy as you obviously do..
Happy New Year Paul and may 2015 prove very exciting for you and your wife as you turn your new home and garden into everything you wish for.......
