We live in Co:Antrim N.Ireland. Our bungalow is on the side of a fairly steep gradient and the back faces the rising sun. The lawn at the back slopes so our grandchildren can't play football on it! Hedge all round of griselinia, about 6 feet high. Plenty of flower beds around with annual and perennial plants and shrubs. Of course climate here as everyone knows wet, wet, but I guess that gives us the green lawns. Greenhouse with tomatoes, and around the house, hanging baskets. Its my wife who does the green-finger stuff - I do the rough stuff, cutting lawns, weeding etc.
