My mum has lived in her house 63 years and has always loved her garden.Years ago she worked in a privately owned Florist/gardening supply shop, she new names of most plants etc and has a great knowledge about gardening. When my Dad was alive he had an allotment [ that was his domain ] mums was the flower garden

She grows most of her own plants from seed / transplants , and manages her big garden still………………..takes her longer to do , but it still gets done.I now though cut her big lawn for her………………….Her age 90 YEARS OLD this September. She is amazing, and loves peoples comments when they see her garden. Hope I can do as well if I reach that age .

I hope I can as well, I'm creaking a bit already. I bet she loves being out in the garden, maybe that's what keeps her going. She's doing really well to still be growing her own plants too. Well done Mum!

That's a good age to reach, and it's great that she is able to do so much for herself still. Good for her :o)
