This was last week and I’m tired so I’ll let the photos speak for themselves – hope you all enjoy.

Looks a great park lots of berries on that tree.

I love living so near to it, and yes those berries! I meant to take a tub over today for blackberries but I forgot. Busy tomorrow and Thursday so hopefully Friday I will get some.

Great idea will you be making a crumble or jam.

Crumble :) My mum is the jam-maker but she has not passed it on to me. Nearest I've tried is ma-made brand marmalade that you just empty out the tin and add something, can't remember what and put it in the sterilised jars.

Love the trees, I don't think any of us look long enough at these majestic growing things. However many I plant I won't live long enough to get them to the size of some of those on your photo's. But I keep trying, perhaps I'll come back as a pigeon and need the roosting space!!

I loved the trees too, especially the rowan berries. Its lovely to have somewhere relaxing nearby where you can wander round.

Crumble that's great shame your mum never past on the jam recipe.

Couple of years ago we bought my daughter a jam making machine. You just put ingredients in, set timer and turn it on. She uses it a lot, more so since I moved to this house with all the plums. I love parks, walking through beautiful trees is so relaxing.

Lol Jen, when our boys were small I think I was a jam making machine...

I would enjoy walking through this park in any season. It's nice that you live near to it :)

Lol. Sue. Must admit I'm not a jam maker so when she asked for machine I thought it sounded good. Thinking about it, think I've bought most of her white goods over the last few years. Xmas it was a Kenwood food processor and this birthday just gone it was a big chest freezer so she can steal all my plums lol.

She did last year. This year it's been me out on a ladder picking them for her, then washing them, think I've got something wrong lol. Won't be picking any today as my legs are killing me from being up the ladder all day washing down outside of conservatory and cleaning all the windows so if she wants them for tonight she will just have to do it herself! :-)
