Keep a watch out

On friday last week I gave my Bamboo a bucket of water as it looked a little dry. I then cut out some of the old canes to tidy it up, job done I then attended to the rest of the garden with a light watering.
On Saturday I realised that I had put my watch down somewhere but could not find it. I checked everywhere including all the stuff I had put out for re-cycling. No Watch. I was due to go to a BBQ on the Sunday and off I went, still no Watch.
Now it is surprising how many times you look at the time went you are out somewhere, I missed that Watch especially when other people asked me the time.
Today I was thinking that perhaps I will go into town and get another Watch but first I decided to water the Garden. As I sprayed the Bamboo something glinted at me and low and behold there was my watch hanging from one of the canes like an ornament on a Christmas Tree. It must have hooked from my wrist as I was pruning. Fortunately my Watch is fairly waterproof and I am pleased to have it back.

The moral is if you lose something; when you trace your steps, don’t forget to check the Garden.
