Is anyone going to the Royal Welsh show this year?

About £300 for the 4 days but the guy who suggested her going there - he does the liablity insurance for the smaller local ones she does said she could easily double her prices as her work is so good. She tends to keep the prices low in order to sell it as it's more of a hobby for her.

He said over 250,000 visitors over the 4 days so make sure you take enough stock and reckons folk would love her stuff as it's different. So. we'll take a look and who knows. Should be a good day out anyway and the camera will be with me all day!!

She makes doorstops, shelf-sitters in the shape of animals like funky chickens, country mice, pigs, cats etc. Lavender hearts, cinnaon tree decs for xmas etc etc. In fairness, she's very good and her quality of work is superb. She has had a number of folk from 'bigger' events approach her to sell her stuff at their events so it's all good. You'd have to see a picture of her bits.....whoops, wrong terminology! Her wares, in order to appreciate them.

Not so dumb then ... just talented! Good luck to her then ... have you ever shown her 'wares' on GoY?!

Not allowed. I did put a pic on one of my early blogs of her funky chicken doorstops but it was kinda part of the blog I suppose. Don't think you can promote other things on the site, which is fair enough.

Oh well ... Christmas fayres will soon be here again ... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahah ( hysterical laughter)!!
