dappled shade walk..

this is the main road as you enter Greenhaven Trailer Park, my peaceful neighbourhood..it’s the first thing you see, and it won me over instantly…at one time there was a solid row of mature elm trees on the right, but dutch elm disease wiped them all out..they have planted some young trees in that spot, but i doubt if i’ll see them to maturity..it’s still a lovely walk, and my fav spot in the park..

Nothing better than a walk in the shade, especially now! Great that the owners invested in more trees rather than just think of the profit margin. Hopefully others will follow their example. Looks a lovely spot, so tidy and neat.

hi, Honeysuckle..this park was sold to new owners a few years ago..they're a big chain, and have lots of $..we own our homes, but rent the lot our trailers sit on, so they have a steady income, and yes, it's good to see them put some $ back into the place..they've removed dead trees, planted new ones, paved the roads ... it makes paying the rent a little easier to bear..i love it here..

That's nice, also no traffic fumes. We live in a cul de sac so there's no through traffic here either. So different to when we lived on the main road with all those lorries.
