point and shoot, thank goodness !

so, after lunch I took the boys out for what I fondly call a “walk”…one trailer home past my own, turn around and come home..about 15 steps each way..good job the boys are tiny…and after tying them up to the porch railings, I whipped out my camera, and started to take photos of what will be my “early” shots of my estate..at least, that was the plan…here I have to pause to explain what I have to work with…a few years ago, after 5/6 eye surgeries, I developed a “wonky” eye..that is, an eye with a mind of its own..I look in one direction, and it may or may not do the same, depending on its mood, I guess..one result of this independent habit, is that I have no depth perception..you understand my difficulty here..anyway, not being able to wear my glasses while looking or half looking through the camera [can’t see with my glasses, can’t see without them] everything that I wanted or didn’t want to see was quite blurry, also what I did see was mostly my own refection..not at all what I want to share..so what to do? point and shoot, that’s what..talk about being in the dark! I felt a bit goofy, but when I checked,I’ve got pics! Yes !!!

I'd love to share, Steragram, but until I've finished with Income Tax work, I can't get to the store to have them show me how to transfer pics from the camera to my laptop..hopefully, it won't be long..at least I have pics on the camera now..it's a start..:o]]

Income tax - oh, its treats time for you then! You'll soon get the hang of transferring pictures - even I learned quite fast. There might be a slot on the side of your laptop where you can insert the card from your camera. If there isn't you can buy a card reader that acts as an intermediary - you put the card in the reader and plug the reader into the laptop.

back again..there are quite a few slots along both sides...i hesitate to plug in the card..I seem to remember a warning sign that said don't plug into the pc without a thing....can't remember what the "thing" is, but they will know at the store, and at least I now know the setup...it seems similar to my old windows ..probably the thing is a card reader...something I would have to buy...should be able to get to the store Monday night, when Patrick takes me shopping...I gave up my car when I moved here.....this is fun, thanks to your help...I was a bit discouraged before...not now...:o]]
