yes sad to say but it is

Sometimes I stand on a hill and look out over what used to be a green valley and think what a plague we are.

yet as a human he is one of the nicest I've ever met. He inspired me in my chosen career, as did Dr David Bellamy.

Him and his brother went to school in Leicester. ....I think very highly of him, wonderful man.

Where I live I see the villages joining up to the towns, and the towns to the city.
more and more and more houses and industrial areas on prime grazing and agricultural land less and less room to breathe........

no one seems to see whats being created on our once green and pleasant land......

he has inspired me all my life . all the things going wrong with this planet come back to us . we take more and more from wear there is less and less . when I was a child I used to think the people walking round with bill boards saying the end is nigh were crazy . I even sore films jokingly doing the same . now I think maybe they were forward thinkers .

I was on a airplane flying from somewhere to somewhere. The plane was at 38,000 ft. Then I looked out the window and down at the earth. Humanity was down there but inperceptable from that altitude. It was then the idea struck me. From that perspective humankind is no more than a very thin biofilm on the surface of a big round stone. I might have as well been looking down at a rock in my garden. Humans think that they are all powerfull, all knowing and have great influence and significance but that is because they are looking at the world from brains that are about six feet from the ground with most other lifeforms at a lesser height. Second thought, looking back at the goings on in the past Twentieth Century, we did one hell of a job in limiting our population growth and it looks like that it will continue into the Twentyfirst Century. Third thought, so He knows the truth and we must balance our beliefs upon what He presents as His cornerstone of truthfulness; Ye Gods and little Fishes Sir Attenborough. Final thought, I often get the impression that people who discuss or predict the end of the world, aka, the human race, have a desire for it to do so within their lifetime. Not, so easy, don't forget that we ARE a PART of nature too and nature is a very very slow moving river taking us along in its flow in its own time. To where? We will never be capable of knowing that, after all, nature is full of surprises.

that's a brilliant analogy ls . what will be will be . weather we are here is really up to us . this planet is an amazing place and a fantastic billion to one possabillity to even egsist . many animal species have dropped bye the way side but not many have got so overpowering and fell so hard so quickly. I have know desire to die but that is out of my hands . the moment humans became farmers instead of hunter gatherers was the start of this rapid expanse and rape of the planet . in effect our large brain has been our downfall . I wonder what aliens would make of us .

Following on from what you both have said, I read was God an astronaut as a teenager.....it made me think then and still does

I try to understand Brian Cox too, when we look up and really try to see the stars, then realise each star we see have their own solar system and what we see is a minute part of the whole which is infinite to us....
then look microscopic and see similar I just wonder.......

well you could be killed for not being able too have children , not finding a husband in time in fact for anything which made you stand out a few hundred years ago because of being a witch . the world was thought to be flat . yet a 2000 plus year old book which of course henry the 8th destroyed and was re written which was before this was believed threw thick and thin without any actual evidence . ive seen very old carvings of what to me is astronaut . theres plenty of unexplained amazing things . creatures have managed without even being able to read for billions of years which to me speaks volumes . aliens are to me a much much higher possibility than a god .

Theres still the question of what came before the big bang?......

the priests missed out a lot and added more, any references to women in any sort of religeon for example...

nature is cruel too though Nosey, look at the animals, they have to kill to eat.....and even plants strangle others.....
survival of the fittest I suppose.

All very deep for the turn of the year, I wish you peaceand health in 2015 Leigh

nature is cruel pam but only as much is ment to be . humans have taken that to a whole new level . it is very deep but still true and if there was ever a valid new years resolution it is for everyone to be pro-active . I wish you the same xx .
