Dear boys & girls…..just got back from Wisley…..There was a lot of winter to early spring flowering cyclamens there…..

So here we go! Let’s rock’n roll!

Judgement day……

C.persicum

C.rhodium

Three cyclamens (Tilebarn Nicholas, coum etc.)

C.graecum

C. coum “Tilebarn Elizabeth”

C.coum albissimum

C.hederifolium

Plant sales at the venue

And other plants…..

Corydalis solida “Firecracker”

Fritillaria argolica “yellow form”

Tulip kaufmanniana (thanks to Andrewr)

Bellevalia stevipedicellata

Muscari armeniacum “Gul”

Lachenalia aloides

Fritillaria “Uva Valpis”

My latest acquisition – C.solida (but I suspect that this is not just “solida” – it looks more like “solida George Baker”)

[Added]

Bought this graecum from Green Ice Nursery from Holland.

I also bought P.marginata “Dwarf Form” at Wisley Plant Centre. I’ve just had it repotted gently……

What beautiful leaves those cyclamen have, I especially like hederifolium and graecum. Many thanks naoto.

Thank you for your all comments!

Wisley Plant Centre is a paradise to me - they don't sell super-rare plants like the specialists, but have relatively rarer plants than (my) local garden centres. I could spend hours there (it only takes me 40 minutes from Kingston-upon-Thames by bus)

Most of alpines plants in 7cm pots are 1.99p and 3.99p if it's in bigger pots.

i enjoyed this blog thank you. I alsowished I lived nearer to the southern and Northern areas. Being close to the Humber I am pretty much in the middle of the country.
