chickens can be hard work, the feed is exspencif, in the summer thay can get mites and scaly leg mites and need to be shut in at night so foxey dont get them.sorry to be so gloomy but it is true.
the fox eat mine .

No there is no grey mould, the spot is making the leaf transparent, in the centr.

I have planted a maiden 'granny smith' in oct 07.in my small sea side garden.it look very wispy, so i shortend all the side branches to about 15in, hope i have done the right thing.I have also orderd a 'james grieves' to pollanate it. hope thay like my red clay soil.
