Personal cleanliness !

I have lots here and seeing your blog has made me realise that unlike all the other birds I've never actually seen any of the doves taking a bath, they drink from the baths and water feature but no splashing about, unless they are very discreet and bathe before I'm up and about, lol, its teeming down here so they'll all be clean though, lovely pics Nan..

Thanks Lincslass I'm surprised they came out so well as it was dull that day. I must admit i've never seen them bathe either.It's been raining here all day too - and such a cold wind.Brrrr, it was coats and gloves day today ( brollies too ) lol

Such lovely photos showing us that we learn something new each day, I shall now be watching the pair of collared doves that visit us every day.

Aaaaw great photos, I've never seen the doves doing this either but the pigeons I have, usually they sit in the birdbath while its raining and do it so a full body wash lol.
