How Did That Happen!

My daughter Laura came over last night to stay with Crystal as our OH were away and we made a bed for Crystal in my bedroom.

We all went to sleep and Crystal settled in her bed….THEN I woke up this morning and somehow our little Crystal (5 stone American Bulldog) had managed to snuck up onto our bed in the night without us noticing!

Well she is tiny LOL:)

I'm sure it's far more comfy and warm on the big bed!

Bruce sleeps on the bedroom floor all night...then at 03:55am jumps on the bed and starts taking the duvet off. He loves his morning walk.

During the really cold weather we broke a primary house rule and started to allow some of the cats up into the bedroom. We would be weighed down with them, and unable to move our legs without catapulting one or more to the floor. They seem to think that now spring is here, this arrangement is going to continue. Jog on Kitties! Their idea of a hint that we should get up at 5.30 to tend to their needs, was loud purring, kneading of faces and washing of noses (ours). Insistent little b*****s. There's only so much of that one can take, and a re-education programme is now firmly in place. However, Brumas, Snowball and Snuffles aren't that daft - sometime during the evening they will slip away from the warmth of the stove, sneak upstairs and hide under the bed. Once we are in bed and asleep, they make their move, and by morning we are re-infested!

Lol thats a talented dog sneeking up unoticed like that.

My OH and I have been looking after a friends cat for several months. OH (despite me saying please don't) started letting her in the bedroom very early on now its impossible to keep her out. For the most part thats fine but she does have a slight tendency of walking over me in the night. Or jumping on the bed and landing on me (scared the life out of me a couple weeks ago). Ah well she went back to her mum last week so I can sleep now. Missing her though.

On a similar note I can remember years and years ago one night I stopped with my nan. She worked as a cleaner for a priest (live in cleaner) who had a Rhodesian Ridgeback as part pet part gaurd dog. He usually slept on the landing but this one night wouldn't settle so we let him in the room. Anyway he curled up on the floor, nan got back into bed and a few minutes later I watched him nose his way under the edge of the duvet, flip the duvet over his back and then climb into bed with my nan, where he started pushing her out lol. Sooo funny. Needless to say nan was not impressed and the dog was in disgrace lol.
