My deepest sympathies to you n2 as I know all to well how you must be feeling. They leave such an enormous hole in your life when they go. There's nothing anyone can do to help with the pain but I hope it doesn't take to long for time to heal.

So sorry to read your sad news.

Thank you all for little Bear's comments.. He will be missed..
I am SO thankful that I wore out both of my digital cameras taking hundreds of photos of this special little boy..

Pamq, I have read the "Rainbow Bridge"! When our last black cat "Midnight" succumbed to feline diabetes, the veterinarian mailed us a "Rainbow Bridge" card and it was SO thoughtful !

For those that have not read the "Rainbow Bridge" here is the blog that I wrote after "Midnight" passed on: http://www.growsonyou.com/n2organics/blog/7118-a-very-touching-card-in-the-mail-today

Yes, my eyes are watering also after reading that, but it offers some comforting closure to the passing of a pet.

N2O, I only read this dreadful news this moment. In this time of loss, my thoughts are with you and all those who will be suffering from it.

I remember seeing your video on Midnight and I shall now go to see the blog you mention. Because all of us who give our hearts to cats and other creatures will have to endure times like these.

Thats realy sad news N20 R.I.P. little Bear .....

Thanks Stripes...
We adopted him from a shelter because he was the only cat that wanted to be held and rubbed for hours on end and I knew that "this was the one to adopt". It was a pity that we got to enjoy him for only 6 months..
He was my "baby" and I miss him so much.. :-((((
