The "curb rock garden"..

This early video was shot as I was assembling my rock garden about a year ago..
I had a raw weed-infested strip by my driveway and wanted to do something that none of the other neighbors had done. a lot of the homes in the area have similar “curb gardens”, but nobody had done a true “rock garden”. I still cannot believe how much those early shrubs have grown in only two years..

After viewing the video you might be interested in what the same area looks like today. Yes, I need to do some weeding because the cheap weed barrier did not work for long! I should have bought the commercial grade fabric instead, but it was an early learning experience.

This side of the new house has turned out pretty good once I sodded the St. Augustine. :-)
