Monets Garden and House

Myself and she who must be obayed went on a mini cruise in Sept to Giverny in France to Monets garden and house and i thought you might like to see some photo’s.
Unfortunatly i can only put a few up as i forgot to turn down the pixel size on the camera and a lot of the photo’s are too big for GOY..:o((
But here are some that are..:

This Watermill was a wonderful resturant where we had lunch about 3 miles from Monets house

Next photos are of Rouen and the landmark is the memorial to Joan of Arc on the site that she was put to death and the last photo is of the memorial church to her..

If you ever get the chance to go do so its a lovely place
and the Monets garden is beautiful.. We were not allowed to photo in the house as it is full of his paintings ( not orginals )
He was quite good with a pencil tooas it goes…LOL

Lovely photos, thanks mushy, I loved the dahlias, the bridge, the rudbeckia and those buildings were wonderful.
You can resize your photos to put them on here, I have to do that with all mine.

if you put the photo on your computer screen then right click on the picture you should get an option to edit, go into edit then look for the option to resize ~ it will ask what size in pixels ~ mine are usually in the order of 3000+ and i change that to 999, i save it under a different name and then i have both options on my computer. 999 size works fine for here and loads quite quickly ~ hope that works for you. let me know if it doesnt!

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time Mushy I don't know how I missed this either ! The watermill restaurant looks a fab place for a meal , we went to the village and the room where Joan of Ark was born the previous year , it was said that she was a man !!

It does rather Mushy .. she was built like a man , dressed in mens clothes and went off on crusades when she was only 18 not many girls would have done that in those days .. ..
