Laurel and Hardy Update

OMG….. This Laural hedge nearly cost me £99 for damaging the cable in the front garden. After careful discussions with the engineer (or he was doing an April Fool, i can’t make my mind up ) he agreed the cable was not placed at the correct depth or in casing so just made a temporary fix and someone else will come to replace it…

This means they will dig the old cable up which is diaganol across the front garden …I was going to leave doing anything to it till next year but i may have to do someone this year now ..
I will be hoping to do a long border along the fence and hoping the neighbour is going to replace or mend…I replaced all the back fencing a couple of years ago without any contribution from him, so fingers crossed he does the front this year.

The herbs and stuff looking good, after the very wet and cold weather we have had over the last few days

Having a nice relaxing day, just took more photos of stuff i have growing around the garden or in the greenhouse. I am working Good Friday/Saturday and Bank Hols Monday so may catch up with you all later

Thanks i will keep my eye on that then, just wanted a small screen as very overlooked by people walking past and the kids sit/walk along the wall and have damaged a few of the edging stones.
Prior to us moving in someone crashed into it as we live on a corner, so the wall is a mix match of old and new brick, so it is not that lovely to look at too.

I think the Laurel hedge is a good idea, gives some sound proofing from the road and good screening. Hope you have better luck then me when it comes to the fencing, unfortunately I had to fence both sides back and front as neither neighbours seemed interested, still I got to choose what I wanted.
