Fantastic weekend and welcomed rain today.

Well had a really good weekend, the weather was great…
Built some frame work and planted some Runner Beans, Dwarf French Beans, sown another row of Carrots (Chardonnay) as the previous row (Autumn King) has started to appear.
Thined out the Cabbages and did a little bit of weeding and cut the lawn.
Potted on the Cucumbers into the next size pots.
I harvested the 1st lot of Radishes and some Lettuce from the greenhouse, god it felt so good to be eating what I had grown.
Sown another couple of rows of Radish outdoors, in between the Brassicas to utilise the space.

I planted out into the boarders some Daisies that I had grown from seed, they look so much better now, they were very drewpy in the cell trays in the greenhouse.

The rain has given the garden a much needed water, I think the plants have grown so much in just a few hours…I will have to update my photos soon as the raised beds are looking good now there is stuff in.

I am nervously looking after some Begonias for a friend whilst she is on her cruise, when she dropped them of i was expecting plants, this was not the case she had just planted the bulbs/tubers, I am so excited as there are now shoots appearing, I was going to txt her but thought it would be a bigger surprise when she gets home.

Yes, we had rain, too, down here in Somerset. I could almost hear the plants heaving a sigh of relief!

They will all shoot up now.

You had a busy weekend - (I reckon we all did!)

You have a lot of stuff. There's nothing nicer than fresh things from the garden.
