I have recently moved to St Helens from the yorkshire dales.I used to have three seperate huge gardens which I loved including a pond which I made back in 1999.
My garden now was already gravelled,no grass :( but I have put a bamboo border in as I love the tropical/Tiki look.
I planted up rather fast,(in a day with plants & cuttings from my old garden) but have also bought some Flax,cordylines,ferns & grasses.
I plan on making a small pond over the winter as I miss mine,& my mum also made a small vegetable patch where I have courgettes,tomatoes,& turnips growing,I had a good crop of Rocket in a window box,& have some onions to plant next!
I learned everything from my mum,& cant believe I joined this!haha
