She wins awards in your garden too. Like the little purple one behind it too, combination is wonderful, and the one in bud in the front, so lovely. Such a nice spot in your garden.

Then I'm sold...any flower with scent will catch my interest every time...lol. I happen to have a copy of David Austin's book Old Roses and English Roses... he is all praise for this rose...says it was developed by the Empress Josephine's plant breeder. Mr. Hardy who named it for his wife! Says it is classic old damask/centifolia bred in 1832...WOW!
