3 Weeks off...........eek!

Hey everyone hope you are all well and good! So it’s been a quiet month in the cupcake garden. I hurt my neck a month ago, then got a horrendous sinus infection and then went on holiday to Poland. My poor poor garden was in a real mess! I was dreading how the garden would be after 3 weeks off. A lot of my plants had withered and the grass was up to my ankles and where to start with the weeds! I have spent most of the weekend doing damage control.

On the bright side I had 3 lovely suprises upon returning from Poland.
1. Future father in law had cut all the hedges.
2. The lovely Madaboutgardening had sent me some lovely plants.
3. Lovely Mummy and Daddy Cupcake had left me a brand new picnic table.

So today we returned the good deeds by helping to cut the 90 year old ladies hedges in next door but one and helped next door cut their hedges. I have also started re-organsing the borders in the back garden.

My lovely new table.

The start of my new boder behind the garage

I adore the echinacea

Starting to take shape now :O)

Re-organised shade border; Tricrystis, Geraniums, Wiegela and Astilbes

The pink patio still going strong :O)

So I’m hoping that the rain holds off on Tues- Weds so I can finish off the back garden.

Happy Gardening :O)

Oh poor you Tulsa, are your sinus' acting up also?

Nana D thanks for the compliment, I'm just desperate for it all to thicken out now!

Dzien dobry Kasy I adore Poland. I'm hopefully going back again in December for my third visit. I went to Krakow and Bochnia last year for a friends wedding and this year we visited Krakow, Bochnia, Rytro (for another friends wedding) and Nowy Sacz. Where abouts are you from?

Dobry wieczór Misscupcake:) Take plenty of warm clothes then - December can be very cold there, lol. I was born in Czestochowa - the city bit more north of Krakow and Bochnia - where there is a famous monastery called Jasna Gora with famous picture of Black Madonna. And famous destination for pilgrims in August. Hope you'll enjoy proper winter there, lol

Haha Kasy my friends have warned me it may be about -20. I am getting the Thermals ready as we speak. I am desperate to see the Main Square and Florianska Gate at Christmas. We stay in Antique Apartments just of the main square on Szczepanska so it's not too far. Plus we'll have some nice Wisniowka to warm us up ;O) Czestochowa sounds lovely I might have to go there when we visit next year. I'm hoping to see Warsaw also next year. Dobranoc Kasy :O)
