Birds

When my front garden was concreted from wall to wall I hated it. Last year I had some of the concrete dug out to make flower borders, since then I have noticed so many birds visiting, especially a robin who hangs out in the front most of the day. Amongst other perennial plants I have also planted four ornamental trees, it is so nice to see the birds perching on the branches. Blissss to my eyes…I feel like I am in Paradise. :))

I hope the pictures are the right way up now….they were taken with my iPad.

Yes its a feeling I share with you......My front is mainly carparking but the birds still manage to mess up hubby's car as they sit on the phone lines, lol. he don't half moan, says they do it on purpose as soon as he has cleaned it...

Can we see the birds? What species do they visit your front garden?
Same problem here with my cars Lincslass, although no phone lines above. They do it as they fly over.

Hi Costa, I have regular birds visiting the garden. Was trying to take some pictures of the Robin and Sparrows this morning from inside...they came out too small. I shall have to keep trying until I get bigger, and clearer pictures of them.

It doesn't seem long since you made this transformation Michaella - nobody would guess how new it is, looks as if its been like that for ages. (You'll be wanting to widen those beds next...)

Looks great Michaella, it looks so mature already; I hope your lovely front garden does not have another
surprise visit from a young man on a motor bike!
