France time again!

Firstly,I must apologise for my lack of responses on GOY.We have been without broadband for 10 days…..no landline either,or should I say only for a minute at a time, which is so infuriating.Crossing fingers all has been sorted and I can now write this blog.
The following photos were taken during out holiday in the Loire area of France.A beautiful area with much interest.Hope you enjoy.
We finished the holiday at the Normandy landings which was a special day for the OH.A very moving area….His compromise was a night’s stay at a beautiful 16th century manor house before we caught the ferry home.
The last photo shows our favourite private garden leading down to the Loire……

It looks wonderful, Julia. I do love France, and hope (before too long) to visit the Parc Oriental de Maulevrier which is a Japanese garden in the Loire . . . perhaps you know it?

Brought back some very happy memories....travelled along the Loire one summer, magical! we didn't go this year, really missed seeing the villages and the floral arrangements, so I will enjoy yours!!
We found the Normandy beaches most interesting, so pleased you enjoyed your trip to our favourite holiday destination...

Lovely pics!
I would love to have a big enough pond for the lady & the hippo.
