Baby Tit activity.

Whilst we were having coffee on the front bench, only 4 feet from the activity, the baby Blue Tit was endeavouring to feast on the fat balls.

The photos are a little fuzzy, but you can see eventually he decides to climb into the fat ball feeder to gain
an advantage.

The feathers aren’t completely developed yet.Seemed so comfortable with us so close.

He is! They have such beautiful markings and colouring, I've enjoyed watching all those on Springwatch....and the Great Tit babies in the Blue Tit box. With all your care Meadowland he should be putting on quite a bit of weight....

Just grey here Karen, with the odd flash of sunshine....I'll be putting on my heating this evening too. Spent a good part of the afternoon widening my borders by about 4", looks so much better......:)).

Great exercise Janey! You're making me feel tired. I had to go clothes shopping today...so depressing. No gardening done, although it really has stopped now. Tomorrow is going to be sunny, but as today was so bad, I'll have to go clothes shopping AGAIN. I did get an outfit, but it was deemed too casual. :(

Ahhh, isn't he gorgeous Meadowland!

Oh dear I hope you like clothes shopping more than I do Karen. Nightmare if you're not average proportions. Hope you find what's needed.

I'm not a fan of any shopping! Don't mind internet shopping but malls and shopping centres ooh no no. Good luck with the second outfit Karen!

Lovely little birds and great photos. We think Magpies have taken over a Pigeon's nest in next doors huge Beech tree. I hang fat balls, sunflower hearts and peanuts for the birds but was not happy to see a large Magpie trying to balance on the feeders :o(
