Throughout the spring and summer we have been making subtle changes to the garden to make life a little easier for us.I say subtle, but felling trees probably can’t be described as such!!
The following photos are a random collection…..hope you enjoy!

Very enjoyable Julia. Nice trip around your garden ... Thank you. I seem to remember a blog earlier this year where you had a huge conifer removed to give you more light. Looks very nice, the front garden sloping down towards the road is nicely landscaped to.

Yes, Alan, we realise we made the right decision removing the conifer plus we pruned the Silver Birch by half....the branches were pressing against the telephone wire.
Thank you Dawn and Linda.

You have a really beautiful garden. It looks well loved :)
It's good to change things as time progresses. We have to adapt and make things work for us in our present circumstances.
I'm going to make a few UN-subtle changes in my garden, for next year :D

It certainly is Hywel....amidst much frustration. We often wonder whether it has become too labour intensive,my OH not being a gardener!Wouldn't be without it though.
Do show us your future un-subtle changes!!

Hello Julia, how are you ? I haven't been on here for a while. The weather has been far too nice to come indoors ! I think its changed now though ! Your garden looks absolutely beautiful ! What is that lovely blue climber on your obelisk ?
