Busy in the garden

Over the last few days I have managed to get quite a lot of things done ,I have tidied up the front garden watered the containers, and got rid of the weeds on the drive. In the back garden I found somewhere for the Astilbe x 4 that my friend gave me,tied back the clematis, made a space beside the Hydrangea,Dicentra,Campanula Persicifolia? Knapweed? for an Iris. I have also shuffled few of my pots around and sited my new compost bin that I got from the council for two pounds it was an offer in the local free magazine we get every so often it also(the magazine) had a free packet of sunflower seeds in , so I planted them today and put some garden netting on the shed to help support them.My garden bench got moved so I have a better view of the birds, but with the birds all squabbling over nests ,eggs and food it has been a little bit noisy.I just have one more pot to move and then when the weather settles I.can put my summer bedding out.It is nice to see the garden and my plans coming together I have enjoyed doing it all and my Samobor Geranium is flowering….that made my day .Hope you are all enjoying you gardens as much as me…….Mavis

It seems you have been very busy, Mavis....If you have enough room its
good to have 2 Compost bins, so whilst filling 1 you have another 1 ready
to fill...so you have ongoing compost,,,i have 3 still, never seem to have enough of my own compost!!! I wish you luck with your Sunflower seeds
and hope you have a wonderful show...you have a lot going on, & a lot
to look forward to in your garden....: >))))
