Happy everything, Mavis! How nice to read such positive news in February - we're still weltering in deep snow and feeling distinctly world weary and sorry for ourselves , so this has done me good! I must start making lists and getting geared up for spring.

Lots of good wishes from me too - yes it is lovely to see the garden beginning to wake up - my witch hazel is just beginning to unfurl - I shall be posting a pic if all goes well - Marigold

Like you I have enjoyed a day in the garden today, moved one or two shrubs and enjoyed seeing the snowdrops and crocus that are in full flower.

Happy birthday, Mavis & son. Warm weather here today too and I did a bit more than pottering, re-laying paving slabs and digging but so enjoyable :)

its nice when lots of nice things happen together. hopw you have many more years of everything nice. enjoy the pottering, I hope to do some at the weekend.

Thank's everybody for your lovely comment's, I did enjoy my pottering, the soil needed a bit of tweaking( I think the right word is aerate?) Gattina hope your snow does not last too long I think there is some heading this way at the weekend.
