Maunie's Profile

My name is Maureen (hence the nickname Maunie given to me by my Dad). I am sixty-six and retired seven years ago but had to return to work when my husband lost his job. i enjoy my job very much and only raise plants and vegetables in very large pots. the reason for this is that I have a dog who enjoys digging very much and three cats. The dog is okay in the garden and the cats go elsewhere for their ablutions.

I have four grandchildren and another expected in September. They range in age from eight to seventeen. They are the light of my life. I enjoy all crafts, especially crochet and cardmaking. I also knit, am a member of a beading circle and love making things on the sewing machine.

That is me, very dull really. Oh yes we do have a holiday home in Kent and we live in Essex.
