Crazy Paving progress.

After a day or two of dryness I’ve finally been able to do the crazy paving at the side of our house. It’s cheap as chips to do, just takes a little bit of time. I had all the broken slabs given to me. The pathway would have looked better with poured concrete but the crazy paving is much cheaper and I think it will look okay when It’s completed. I ache all over…

This is how our back yard originally looked, the messy border is just a nuisance when it’s wet. We also store our household/garden/recycling bins here too and they are always dirty.

The broken slabs I had given to me! All piled up! The grass border is always muddy so my Mrs and I thought it had better be got rid of. Our Staffy is forever treading mud into the house from this border, she loves to dig.

After two days of digging and laying I finally started the pointing this afternoon!

There’s still another days work ahead of me yet, pointing the slabs!

That does look good - edging is like one of those old victorian tiled floors!
