Minsterley Show

The Minsterley show went ahead last Saturday. There were no farm animals there this year, must be because of the foot & mouth problem. However there were horses and plenty of other entertainment in the ring. A smaller ring with a dog show. Tents with crafts etc. And of course the home section with cakes etc. and horticulture – flowers, veg. etc.
I’ve loaded a few pictures- Begonia, Can-Can which got a first. Begonia, Fred Martin which came second. And Begonia, B. Rhodes which was a class for 5 floating flower heads in a bowl of water, and that got a first.
Next week it’s The Pontesbury show. However the car has had to go into the garage as the suspension has collapsed which has put it off the road. I am hoping to get it back in time for the weekend or i won’t be able to get the plants to the show!
