Amazing Mark, bargain, and all it needed was some water and TLC. When i go into B&Q I get so angry when I see plants in distress.

I dont understand why they allow that to happen, but it made for a great bargain.

It's those greenfingers , Mark !
How pleasing . I love "plant rescue " .
You feel so proud when they rally , don't you ?

Its a beauty Mark and at that price you can`t go wrong because even if only half the plants had survived it would still have been worth it, its always worth checking out the ones past their sellby dates...

Brilliant bargain - and looks like a nice container too.

Some of the containers you get with these bargains are marvellous value over the empty/new price. It is very satisfying to be able to resuscitate a bargain buy. Just such a shame that they order so much stuff in these places, then care for it so badly that it dries up or overgrows. It doesn't always sell well, as the initial asking price is too high. Then the 50p label goes on when the item has sat there and 'gorn over'. Then the rubbish skip and just pure waste to go into land fill I suppose.

Hi all i pop into b and q every day after work just to see what they have knocked down with it being the end of summer.I went in one day it was a bit embarrassing because i only spent 10p on a plant.Which is now doing very well.If i feel i can revive them i will take them on and give them a good home.

Thank you all so much for the great comments.I will put a picture on of the receipt for the 10p bill and the plant as i still cant believe it.:))))

Hi Mark, J and J ...
Well done on your bargains. :o)

Well done. Your 10 p plant looks like Verbena, a ground cover or great in hanging basket or tall pots to trail over the side. U can start new plants from cuttings.
