Hi all ,i am trying to keep the cats of my sheds as they tend to lie there and use it as a scratching post ,they are now making a lot of holes. Not Good.So i thought if i could try and stop them from jumping on to it it will stop this.

If this works i am going to paint it with some transparent paint i brought at the weekend.:)))))BBFB

It may not keep them off but it will stop them doing any damage by scratching Yorkshire.

Think you could grow a nice climbing plant up there Mark to hide the trellis a bit!! Nice one.

Oh dear, as part owner of four furry friends who think the shed roofs were all put in place especially in the sun for them and also a good vantage point away from the dogs, I don`t think it will stop them but well worth trying, let us know if it works Mark.........

Hi all sorry again for my late reply on this blog.No it didnt work they are still getting on the shed roof. There are no dogs able to get to them in our garden i just think it is a advantage point for them to trap the birds. This is my only concern and why i wont to stop them coming in without any harm to them.:)))))

I am still considering the idea of growing a climber around the trellis because it would brighten the corner up and hide the trellis:))))

Mark you can buy strips of plastic that has points sticking out of it maybe a strip of this might keep them away!!
